Who is Toyin Abraham?
The Nigerian born film star, actress director and producer Toyin Abraham was born Olutoyin Aimakhu, 5 September 1980.
Toyin Abraham was born on 5 September 1980 at Auchi, an Edo state town in the south of Nigeria, but spent her early life in Ibadan.
She was awarded a Pre-National Diploma and an Ordinary Diploma from 1999 to 2002 in the Osun State of Polytechnic Iree. She received an Ibadan Polytechnic National Marketing Diploma Certificate and was graded with Dibie, C.B.N aka x7. In various films, Toyin Abraham recently starred in a Black Val movie.
Toyin Abraham Movie Career
Toyin Abraham started acting in 2003, when a Nigerian film actress, Bukky Wright, was visiting Ibadan to film a Nigerian movie. Toyin Abraham has written, produced and directed many Nigerian movies over the years, such as Alani Baba Labake and Ebimi ni.
She was nominated for Best-Supporting Actress for a Yoruba film named Ebimi NO, and during 2013, Joke Muyiwa, nominated for Best Lead Actress in Ayitale, a Yoruba picture, was nominated for Best of Nollywood Awards.

Politicians have even called on Toyin to campaign for them, based on her acting experience. In one of the programs for the 2015 re-election bid by Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan, the actress said she was willing to die for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on whose platform Jonathan is contesting. But later she came out to apologize for her remarks to her fans, and begged Nigerians not to spill their blood for any politician.

Recall Funke Akindele has been expelled after holding a house party on her husband’s birthday with more than 20 people participating despite breaking the coronavirus lockout laws and social distancing guidelines. Funke’s party ignited a number of social media controversies which led to the actress providing a public apology and arraignment in court.
