Demario Davis is an American-born footballer and guard of the National Football League (NFL) New Orleans Saints. He was drafted by the New York Jets in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He plays college football in Arkansas.

Davis’s mother gave birth to him at the age of 16, and his father was a draft soldier in the US Army and retired veterans. Davis attended Brandon High School in Brandon, Mississippi, where he was an athlete in football, basketball and track and field.

In football games, he was widely accepted by players in his sophomore and junior years, leading the team to the 14th playoffs with a 7-5 record over the past 16 years. In his senior year, he recorded 81 tackles, 6 interceptions and 1 sack. He also made 30 passes for 386 catch yards and scored 4.

He was also a starter for the Brandon basketball team and a high jumper on the college track and field team. He was selected to the All-Metro team of the Sun Belt First Team and to the All-Metro team of Clarion Ledger.

Career

Demario Davis participated in the NFL scout combine in Indianapolis, Indiana, and completed all the combine and position drills. On March 27, 2012, he participated in the Arkansas Professional Day and chose to run a 40-yard sprint (4.52s), a 20-yard sprint (2.72s), a 10-yard sprint (1.63s), a vertical jump (38.5 “), and positioning Drill.
