Who is Cynthia Morgan?
Cynthia Ikponmwenosa Morgan was born on the 23rd of September 1991, she’s popularly known by her former stage name Cynthia Morgan, now Madrina, she’s a Nigerian-born singer and songwriter. Her music is a fusion of pop, hip hop, dancehall and rap.
Cynthia achieved celebrity status following the release of two singles called “Don’t Break My Heart” and “Lead Me On”, which received huge airplay and positive reviews from critics. Cynthia made her acting debut in a 2016 Nollywood movie “The Wrong Number” Directed by Saint Joseph popsehi, and comedy film Ay Journey to Jamaica.

Cynthia Morgan Early life and education
Cynthia was born in Benin City, Edo State where she completed her basic formal education. At the age of 3, she was already a backup singer for her mother’s musical band.

At the age of 7, Cynthia began songwriting and at the age of 17 recorded her first single which included General Pype “Dutty Stepping”. In 2008, she moved to Lagos to develop her music career. she calls herself Killa Marshal whose Ego is on stage.
On August 22, 2013, Cynthia Morgan signed a recording contract with Northside Entertainment Inc. owned by Jude ‘Engees’ Okoye. A few months later, he released two singles at the top of the charts “Don’t Break My Heart” and “Lead Me On” which received positive reviews from fans; the latter went on to be nominated for “Best Reggae / Dancehall Single” in The Headies 2014
She is currently working on her debut album.
Cynthia Morgan, the Nigerian dance-hall queen has kept her relationship status a secret until recently when rumors linked her to her fellow dance singer, Burna Boy. The two musicians did little to deny the relationship as the new confirmation emerged that they were having an affair.
